We have just finished a great weekend at the church that included the first annual NTX District Worship retreat. It was a great success and it allowed the worship teams from the NTX region to connect with each other, get refreshed and blessed in the presence of the Lord, and hopefully take something away with them that will enhance their ability to lead their own congregations. Our COTH team led the second set of worship on Friday night and they let the old guy play electric with them. It was fun but I think I stressed myself out as I haven't played in that setting for quite sometime. As the evening progressed I settled in and was able to play fairly well. It was great to back up my son and be a part of the team! Our service was really great this morning as I finished a ten week series on choices. It has been very productive and I am excited to move into my next series from the book of Nehemiah after Mother's Day.
